Aloe

Aloe is a genus of succulent plants that encompasses over 600 different species. These plants are known for their fleshy, usually spiny leaves arranged in neat rosettes, and tall candle-like flowers in predominantly red and vibrant orange hues. Members of the genus can mainly be found in Africa (±405) & Madagascar (±145). In South-Africa alone, about 155 species can be found.
