Shipping Policy

1. Orders are shipped within the borders of South Africa only, no exports to other countries.

2. Payments to be made via PayFast only.

3. Shipping costs will be calculated at checkout.

4. Customers have the option to choose from these shipping options: PUDO, Postnet 2 Postnet, Door 2 Door via The Courier Guy, or self-pickup in Pretoria.

5. Orders within Gauteng will be dispatched between Mondays and Fridays. These orders will be dispatched within 5 business days of the order received and normally take between 1-3 business days to reach the customer.

6. Orders outside of Gauteng will be dispatched on Mondays and Tuesdays only. These orders will be dispatched within 5 business days of the order received and normally take between 3-5 business days to reach the customer.

7. Bromeliads will be sold as a cutting or pup from the mother plant and shipped without soil or pot. Please see notes on individual plants.

8. Bulbous plants will be sold as a packed of bulbs as indicated on the product. Please see notes on individual plants.

9. Epidendrum or reed orchids will be shipped bare-rooted, with no grow medium or pot to save on shipping costs. Other orchids will be shipped with grow medium and pot or as a mounted plant. Please see notes on individual plants.

10. Succulents will be sold as a cutting, rooted or unrooted plant and shipped without soil or pot or as indicated on the product. Please see notes on individual plants.

11. If you need/want plants with pots and soil, please reach out to us via email. We will send you a separate quote for additional delivery expenses.

12. PUDO courier cost is R60 for all orders under 5kg. However, if the customer’s order weighs more than 5kg, we will require an additional cost stated via email. PLEASE MAKE SURE THERE IS A PUDO LOCKER NEAR YOU BEFORE CHOOSING THIS SHIPPING OPTION.

13. Postnet 2 Postnet courier cost is R99 for all orders under 5kg. However, if the customer’s order weighs more than 5kg, we will require an additional cost stated via email. PLEASE MAKE SURE THERE IS A POSTNET NEAR YOU BEFORE CHOOSING THIS OPTION.

14. A tracking number/link will be sent via email once the order has been dispatched, which the customer can use to track their order on either The Courier Guy‘s website or Postnet‘s.
