Epidendrum fulgens

R120,00

Epidendrum fulgens is a hardy, sun-loving orchid native to the sandy coastal regions of Brazil. Unlike many orchids that prefer shade, this species naturally grows in full sun among dunes and rocky areas.

It forms clumps of upright, reed-like stems with narrow, leathery green leaves. The plant produces clusters of bright, showy flowers in shades of vivid orange, red-orange, or coral, often with a contrasting yellow or golden throat. Blooming typically occurs from late winter into spring, but in warm climates it can flower more than once a year.
