Bromeliads
Bromeliads, belonging to the Bromeliaceae family with about 80 genera and 3700 known species, are native to the tropical regions of the Americas. They have a rosette-shaped arrangement of leaves, which forms a central cup that serves as a reservoir for collecting water & nutrients. Flowers can be vibrant shades of red, orange, yellow, pink, or purple. Popular genera that can be found in the Bromeliad family include Aechmea, Cryptanthus, Neoregelia, Tillandsia & Vriesea.
