Zantedeschia elliottiana, also known as Elliott’s Calla Lily, is a distinctive South African plant valued for its bright, eye-catching blooms and elegant form. This calla lily adds a splash of vibrant colour and grace to any garden or indoor space.

Key Features:

• Vivid Flowers: Zantedeschia elliottiana produces striking, trumpet-shaped flowers in a radiant yellow or golden hue. The bold colour creates a cheerful and uplifting display.
• Graceful Foliage: The plant features broad, arrow-shaped leaves that are typically dark green with subtle white speckles or veins, complementing the vibrant flowers.
• Versatile Growth: This plant grows well in both garden beds and containers, making it a versatile choice for various planting scenarios.

Care Requirements:

• Light: Full sun to semi-shade. It can tolerate some direct sunlight but avoid intense, midday sun to prevent leaf scorch.
• Water: In Spring and Summer, water every 2-3 days for 10 minutes, provided it hasn’t rained. Do not over-water!
• Soil: Thrives in well-draining, humus-rich soil. Ensure good drainage to prevent root rot.
• Temperature: Best suited for temperatures between 10-20°C. Can tolerate temperatures as low as -10°C, but protect from frost and extreme cold.
• Humidity: Prefers moderate humidity levels. Ensure good air circulation to prevent fungal issues.

Lifting/dormancy time: No need to lift, but if you do lift, do so at the end of Summer.
