Epidendrum, the Poor Man’s Orchid, is a large and diverse genus of orchids, comprising around 1,500 species. These orchids are primarily native to tropical and subtropical regions of the Americas, including Central and South America and the Caribbean. They are known for their hardiness, ease of cultivation, and a wide variety of flower forms and colours. Some Epidendrum species can tolerate more direct sunlight, which can enhance flowering.
